She has worked intimately with the world of international aid for over twenty years, conducting research in conflict zones, including Colombia, Somalia, Israel, and Palestine and with Doctors Without Borders and at the United Nations headquarters. Professor Autesserre is an award-winning author, peacebuilder, and researcher. In addition, PolSci and Psychology graduate students are invited to a catered lunch with Professor Autessere at 11:00 a.m. This exciting new work asks what strategies have worked to build lasting peace in conflict zones and provides key takeaways for the radical changes we need to make to build lasting peace around us.
